Below are a few Featured Workshops I offer.  These are different than you'll find elsewhere and aim to provide you an adventure, enhanced 1:1 learning opportunities and some unique offerings.

Head over to my Photography Workshops and Tours site to learn more.

Let's Go Explore!

A Day with the Artist Photography Workshop

A little different than your normal workshop.  Join me in Southern Utah and shoot along side me as I would do in my own work.  We'll explore, hike, chase light and have ZERO itinerary.  This is a rare chance to learn and work WITH a photographer in the field and is absolutely NOT a workshop or tour.  Instruction will be provided during the day but please note we will be exploring and shooting as I would do, not adhering to an itinerary of any sort.

Location: Customized to your location, please contact me to get started.

Duration: All Day. Sunrise - Sunset with meal breaks.  Bring snacks and water though, we're photographing not eating at normal times.

Pricing: $700/Day - Includes all transportation.  Meals, lodging not included.

Requirements: Must be able to hike comfortably for up to 4 miles while carrying your own gear.   Terrain may be rugged but never technical.  Walking on rocks, sandstone, through water, and trails are normal.  Basically, be able to explore no matter where we go.

Seasons: All 4 Seasons.

Why this Experience:  We'll access areas you didn't know existed, we'll explore more than any other workshop, you'll have 1:1 learning and a unique opportunity to go beyond any workshop you've ever been on.  You'll actually get to go out and explore and practice photography as Nature Photographers do!

Custom and Private Workshops

Where: You Choose.  I live in Southern Utah and am available to travel to many different locations.  Please contact me sooner than later as some areas require permit applications a year or more in advance.

When: Custom dates available.

Examples of Previous Custom Workshops: The Palouse, Olympic Peninsula, Escalante, Arches & Moab, Oregon Coast, Park City, UT.

Southern Utah

Palouse May 15-19 & May 22-26, 2022

Why This Workshop:  This is NOT a tour of known locations in the Palouse. This field workshop is geared towards finding unique images, exploring backroads, discovering new scenes and photography instruction. All skill levels welcomed.  Late May/Early June is the best weather and conditions in the Palouse.  No post-processing sessions with this workshop because you will be tired, there simply isn't time if we're focused on shooting.

Dates: May 15-19 & May 22-26, 2022.   Small Group Workshop (4 people max), not a large group like the others.

Included: Lodging (4 nights, Private Room), Transportation to/from Spokane Airport and during Workshop, Breakfast & Dinner During workshop, dinner evening prior and breakfast day after.  No car needed.

Not Included : Lunch during workshop dates.  We'll stop to pickup snacks/lunch at the grocery store. Many places for delivery also.  My experience is it's best to snack and have a full breakfast and dinner.

Lodging: Pullman, WA - Marriott Court Yard, Private Room.

Itinerary: 3 1/2 Days of shooting. You will be tired and have a full memory card!  Sunrise session then breakfast.  Break for lunch and rest. 4PM early dinner then evening session.

Pricing: $3995/Person
